Ok So I do the bulletins for my church (and another church) and this week one of our verses is 2 Corinthians 12:6-10. I usually read the verses so I know what the Pastor is preaching on or just to get my "God" on. This week a particular verse got me. The part that struck me was verse 9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." That is just an awesome example of the love of Christ. This verse means to me that God's grace is endless. That when we are weak, with God we are really strong. Verse 10 says, "For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong." This verse is so true. When I am going through a hard time I just give my problems to my Father and He makes me strong again.
My goal this year is to made my life verse. The verse that gets me going when I am down. I think this one takes the lead. (We shall see.)
